Natural dye can been extracted from the bark of Terminalia arjuna for natural dyeing.  The colouring compounds in Arjun Bark have been identified as 6,4′ – dihydroxy, 7-methoxy flavones, baicalein and ellagic acid which gives a yellow colour. 
 
Be sure to choose the correct mordant depending on the type of fibre/fabric being dyed.
