The improvements when compared to the previous nano 2 are smoother bobbins with bearings, upgraded sliding hooks, a redesigned stronger flyer, and a spring tension system for better uptake. The biggest change is a major upgrade to the flyer and tension system for an even smoother spinning experience.
The all new Electric Eel Wheel Nano 2.1 is an affordable and travel friendly espinner that spins your fiber into beautiful yarn! It is great for both new spinners and for experienced spinners looking for a fully functional spinning wheel.
The orifice hole is about 6mm (about 1/4 inch) in diameter when using the orifice reducer and if that’s removed then the orifice hole is 16mm (over 1/2 inch).

The spinner can be connected to a battery pack for use on the road. Maurice the inventor recommends the following battery pack for use with this e-spinner:

This pack occasionally goes out of stock across the internet. However USB battery packs with a USB A type charging connector should work. We recommend testing a few with the e-spinner yourself as so many types and sizes are available, it is difficult for us to give a definitive recommendation for alternatives to the TalentCell. The Nano 2.1 is sold by us on the basis that battery pack compatibility is your responsibility.
