Organically grown cotton fibres are mercerized to produce a cotton yarn with a lovely lustre. The yarn is dyed to organic standards by Master Dyer Claes Hedstrom. If you subscribe to Vav Magazine there is an article about Claes and his master dyeing skills in Issue 2 2017. He is certainly very highly regarded by Swedish Weavers. Suitable for warp or weft for any project where you would like the lovely sheen mercerised cotton gives, it can be used in projects calling for any 8/2 cotton or similar thickness of yarn. It is also perfect for use as the finer pick in structures calling for a tabby tie down when using a heavier pattern thread.
