The Spring loom is supplied from new with a choice of either 8 or 12 shafts.
 
However for those Spring owners with an 8-shaft loom there may come a time when you wish to extend your loom to 12 shafts.  With this 4 shaft extension kit comes 4 additional shafts and 4 treadles enabling you to turn your  8-shaft loom into a 12-shaft loom.
 
This kit is to be used for the older Spring looms that have only 4 shafts with 1 or 2 of these sets into an 8-shaft or 12-shaft loom.
 
No heddles are included in the kit and will need to be purchased separately.
