Louet is designing a new e-spinner which will feature both Irish tension and Scotch tension. The name of the E-Spinner is Jenn-E, named after a spindle frame invented by James Hargreaves in 1764. We thought this was a nice reference to the evolution of spinning and the difference between foot treadled and electric.

The new Jenn-E Features

  • Variable speed motor 0 to 1800 RPM
  • Manual speed control
  • Change direction for plying - left or right with a switch
  • Foot operated speed control
  • Large bobbins
  • Switch between IrT or ScT spin styles and orifice sizes for different purposes
  • Magnetic connection
  • Wooden carrying case included
  • Stylish Louet design
