Our December issue is all about those lofty and warm woolen yarns. We have explanations and deep dives on the various long draw drafts: point of contact/supported, double draft/traditional/English, from the fold, short long draw/short with twist between hands, and unassisted. And the issue covers spinning long draw on wheels, e-spinners, spindles, and charkhas.

The issue looks at the range of diameters from thin to bulky and explains how to spin the thickness you want on both wheel and spindle.
