The Schacht Arras Tapestry Loom recognises the traditions of pictorial weaving with a modern, well designed sturdy loom. The Arras Tapestry Loom will withstand the demands which tapestry weaving places on the loom. It has the capacity to delight established tapestry weavers and respect the needs of weavers new to tapestry weaving.
The Arras has a generous continuous 144cm/45” warp length and ergonomic handles adjust the tensioning beam. It also has four sett springs at 4, 5, 6, and 8 dents, and an adjustable shedding device which can be set for left or right hand operation. It can be tilted slightly backwards or left in the vertical position and has adjustable legs which can be folded for storage or transport. The rubber feet ensure that the loom sits solidly on work surfaces.
Included with this durable hardwood and maple plywood tapestry loom are 100 Texsolv heddles and a Cartoon holder.
