A beautiful, authentic Welsh Wool Weaving Yarn produced by the Welsh Fibre Company in Wales.  This yarn is made from the wool of native sheep breeds collected from local farms in Wales wherever practical, and lovingly crafted into weaving yarns of exacting specifications.  All yarn is fully traced back to the farm and right through to the end product.  Except for the natural ecru and black which are undyed, the yarns are carefully hand-dyed in a range of colours  using natural dyes in small batches creating a totally unique yarn found nowhere else.  See information section below.

Yarn Specifications:

Count: 6/2nm; 12 YSW

epi - 8, 10, 12: depending on choice and density of final cloth and choice of weaving pattern.

Approx: 3225m/kg

Please note due to the nature of the artisan production process cones of yarn weigh between 220-250g. We have fixed the price based on this range to account for the dyeing and coning processes which are not exact.   If this is a major problem for you, we positively encourage you to seek an alternative product.  Note also natural dyed wool is not precise, the colours are muted (not like acid/synthetic dyes) and there are expected variations between batches.  Please refer to information section for additional considerations.
