For Use when using dyes - provides acid conditions to your dye bath. 

 

Citric acid is a useful substitute to vinegar when using acid milling dyes to dye animal fibres such as wool.

 

Contents: Pure Food Grade Citric Acid Crystals (E330)

Directions: see instructions provided with dye or on our website under yarn and fabric “Dyeing methods” for use of this Dye Activator.

 

Citric acid is particularly useful when creating a mild acidity needed to dye yarns as materials such as silk and wool.

 

WARNING: May be harmful if swallowed or inhaled. Causes irritation to the eyes.

Avoid contact with eyes. Wear eye protection when handling. Do not ingest or inhale.
