These lovely wooden selvedge weights can be used by either hanging over the thread behind the back beam or to wrap yarn around it and hang over the back beam.  There is an extra hook at the bottom to add another hook for more weight if required.  They can also be used to weight and keep under tension any supplementary or broken warp threads.   The large size is for denser/heavier threads such as cotton.
