Are you interested in weaving, creating textiles, fibre arts or just playing with yarns for a day? If the answer is YES, this could be a course for you!
This 1-day beginners weaving course is for absolute beginners and will be interactive and fun. We will introduce you to the very basics of weaving in a hands-on way including explanations of the key terms such as warp, weft, shed, shuttle, tension, etc.The course includes tuition from our experienced weavers, all the materials to get you started and your very own new Louët Lisa small frame loom which you will use during the course, and then can take away with you to continue your weaving project which you started at home. This one-day course also includes tea/coffee, refreshments, and a light lunch.
This course is designed as a foundation for other weaving courses we will offer including:
